An evening meet at a Rio Rancho coffee shop just north of Albuquerque, put on by a local motor events group with a couple of rod and racing clubs behind it. The crowd is genuinely mixed, with lowriders, New Mexico street rods, imports and the occasional desert race truck. It is a night meet rather than a morning one, so bring a jacket in the cooler months because the high desert drops fast after sundown.
